  • (1) Atesteerimine on akadeemilise töötaja töötulemuste ja ametikohal esitatavatele nõuetele vastavuse perioodiline hindamine, mille eesmärk on toetada töötaja arengut ja karjäärivõimalusi ning millega määratakse kindlaks atesteeritava töötaja sobivus ametikohale.

  • (1) Evalveerimine on teadus- ja arendustegevuse välishindamine, mis viiakse läbi kas korralise evalveerimisena teadus- ja arendusasutuse vastava teadus- ja arendustegevuse valdkonna taseme hindamiseks või sihtevalveerimisena teaduspoliitika kujundamiseks ning teadus- ja arendustegevuse korraldamiseks vajaliku teabe saamiseks.
