(1) Referentlabor on käesoleva seaduse tähenduses labor, mis osutab referentteenust käesolevas paragrahvis nimetatud uuringuvaldkondades kõrge tundlikkuse ja spetsiifilise diagnostika meetodiga.

(1) Riiklik referentlaboratoorium (edaspidi referentlaboratoorium) käesoleva seaduse tähenduses on Euroopa Parlamendi ja nõukogu määruse (EL) 2017/625 artiklis 100 sätestatud laboratoorium, kes täidab referentlaboratooriumi ülesandeid toidu valdkonnas.

(1) For the purposes of this Act, ‘national reference laboratory’ (hereinafter reference laboratory) means the laboratory specified in Article 100 of Regulation (EU) No 2017/625 of the European Parliament and of the Council, which performs the duties of a reference laboratory in the field of food.

§ 16. Immunohematoloogiliste uuringute referentlabor Immunohematoloogiliste uuringute referentlabor (edaspidi referentlabor) on labor, kes osutab referentteenust, sealhulgas määrab kliiniliselt olulistes veregruppide süsteemides antigeene ja antikehi ning juhendab metoodiliselt Eestis tegutsevaid teisi selle valdkonna laboreid. Referentlabori eesmärk on tagada immunohematoloogiliste uuringute kvaliteet.

§ 16. Reference laboratory for immunohaematological testing The reference laboratory engaged in immunohaematological testing (hereinafter reference laboratory) is a laboratory which provides reference services, including the determination of antigens and antibodies in systems of clinically significant blood groups and provides methodological guidance to other laboratories operating in the same field in Estonia. The purpose of the reference laboratory is to ensure the quality of immunohaematological testing.
